Crayon Pop Signs with Sony Music Entertainment

Korea’s latest dance craze girl group, Crayon Pop, has signed with the big name agency, Sony Music Entertainment.

On August 13, Sony Music stated, “Last month, a few Sony Music officials visited Korea to view the K-Pop scene. They met Crayon Pop and were impressed by the group’s uniqueness and thought that they could do well in the global market.”

Crayon Pop’s agency Chrome Entertainment commented, “We think signing Crayon Pop with Sony Music is a huge step toward their growth and we are excited to see what results will come forth in the future.”

Sony Music is home to many worldwide artists such as Beyonce, Justin Timberlake, Avril Lavigne, Usher and more. Korean artists such as Yiruma, Tim, Park Jong Ho, Kim Bo Kyung and Shayne are also part of the company.

Crayon Pop skyrocketed into fame with their latest single “Bar Bar Bar” for its fun and cute concept and dance.
