Seungri to Return to Variety Shows "SNL" and an Unprecedented Live Broadcast of "Hwashin"

Seungri is determined to make a much bigger name for himself with the release of his much anticipated second solo mini album “Let’s Talk About Love.” But a great mini album also needs some marketing to go with it, and it appears that Seungri is ready to appear on some of the most popular variety shows. Reports confirm that Seungri will appear on an episode of “Saturday Night Live Korea” and in next week’s unprecedented live broadcast of SBS talk show “Hwashin.”

Seungri has allegedly been chosen as one of the guests for next week’s episode of  “Hwashin” featuring Shin Dong Yeop, Bong Tae Gyu, Kim Hee Sun, and Kim Gura. On top of our special guest, next week’s episode is a summer special titled “The Hwashin Live,” scheduled to be broadcast live. This is an unprecedented event among local talk shows as the usual recording takes four to five hours that gets cut down to an hour in the editing phase. 

A staff have stated that the “Hwashin” team has great expectations for Seungri’s guest appearance. “We believed that Seungri was perfect as a guest for this live broadcast episode due to his quick wit and for being an amazing entertainer,” he commented. “We believe that he will also be perfectly matched with the four MCs.”

It is believed that he will be revealing some never-before-heard stories about himself which will presumably be an extension to what he has been stating in his Facebook page prior to the release of his mini album. 

“Hwashin” isn’t the only variety show where we will be seeing the Big Bang member. Reports also confirm that Seungri will be the host of the “SNL Korea” episode set to air on September 7th. Information is still thin regarding this one, but reports state that the episode will also feature surprise appearances from other YG artists.
