Super Junior’s Heechul Completes Mandatory Military Service
The “Space Big Star” is back! Super Junior‘s Heechul was discharged from his two year mandatory military service today, August 30.
He enlisted into the army on September 1, 2011 and served as a public service worker at the Seodong District office. Upon his discharge, he also received a good service award.
In anticipation for his return, fans have trended hashtags such as #WelcomeBackHeenim #HeechulIsBack and #spacebigstarcomeback on various social networks.
Hee Chul’s reps revealed, “Kim Hee Chul is receiving several offers from variety programs and dramas,” and “After he is discharged, he will be looking over those offers thoroughly and decide on what to do. Nothing is decided yet.”
They continued, “After he is discharged, Kim Hee Chul will take time to practice before stepping on stage. After he has enough practice, he will be joining Super Junior on their world tour. However, the exact time and date is not decided for sure yet.”
