GI (Global Icon) Releases Minimal Yet Powerful Music Video for "Booshit" Feat. Dok2

On September 9, GI (Global Icon) released the music video for their fresh, new single “Booshit” (or “Don’t Lie“), featuring rapper Dok2.

The music video stayed minimal with the visuals but kept it powerful with a black-and-white overtone and the girls showing off their strong dance moves and fierce attitudes.

Members Ha Yun, One Ket, Eun Ji, AI and A Ram displayed their powerful rapping and vocal skills in this video. Although most girl groups tend to show some skin, GI covers it all up with cute hip-hop outfits, aiming to impress viewers with their voices rather than their bodies.

Although “Booshit” was deemed unfit for broadcast by all three major channels (KBS, SBS, MBC), GI will going forward with promotions with another song, “ㄱ.”
