Lee Hyori's Praise Makes SPICA Members Cry

On the recent airing of MBC FM4U’s “Kim Shin Young’s Hope Song at Noon” on September 10, girl group SPICA and singer Kim Yerim appeared as special guests.

During the show, they were asked to call a close acquaintance, and SPICA decided to contact singer and a new-bride Lee Hyori.

On the phone, Lee Hyori praised the group, “The girls are kind and naive. They are so  innocent and unpretentious that sometimes, they may appear to be untalented.” Lee Hyori advised SPICA, “That could hinder your performances on the stage, and also would make it hard for you to survive in this industry. You need to be sneakier.”

To Lee Hyori’s practical and thoughtful advice, members Park Joo Hyun and Kim Boa cried as they stated, “It felt like we were talking to a family member.”
