Pregnant Park Shi Yeon Skips Her Court Hearing Due to Being Full Term

Another update on the illegal substance abuse case surrounding several actresses in the entertainment industry.

On September 16, the twelfth hearing for three actresses’ illegal use of propofol was held at Seoul Central District Court.

Actresses Jang Mi In Ae and Lee Seung Yeon were present at the courthouse from the early morning on this day, but Park Shi Yeon was absent. She is almost due to give birth, which is estimated to be a week away and gave “health reasons” to justify her absence. Park Shi Yeon previously expressed that she wanted to show her intentions of attending all of the hearings and have thus far.

Regarding this, a court representative stated, “Park Shi Yeon’s party revealed that she’s not able to attend. It’s difficult for her to stay in the courthouse for a long period of time when she’s almost due. Only her lawyer will be present.”
