Actress Ha Yeon Soo Injured, Sitcom “Potato Star” Adjusts Broadcast Time

On September 23, a tvN representative belatedly revealed that Ha Yeon Soo twisted her foot on September 18 while filming for sitcom “Potato Star 2013QR3.” The scene required her to get off a bus and she sprained her ankle in the process.

The filming halted after the injury and she was immediately taken to the emergency room.

A representative from the hospital she visited commented, “She needs to stay in bed for about three weeks to recover and should not move. We’ll have to check then regarding the condition on her foot, but she should be able to move around while taking it easy.”

Ha Yeon Soo is currently resting at home and is receiving outpatient care and rehab.

After an emergency meeting, a tvN representative stated, “Currently, we have finished filming for eight episodes. As she’s the heroine, we can’t help but to temporarily cut down the broadcast time for the next four to five weeks until she recovers. More than anything else, we wish that Ha Yeon Soo will fully recover and will be able to come back to filming afterwards.”

A production member commented, “Ha Yeon Soo is a main character and holds a lot of weight so it’s difficult to change the story.
