Kim Junsu, Ock Joo Hyun, Jo Seung Woo and Kim So Hyun Win Popularity Award for Korea Musical Awards

Musical actors Kim So Hyun, Jo Seung Woo, Ock Joo Hyun and Kim Junsu have all won the Popularity Award for the 19th Korea Musical Awards.

The 19th Korea Musical Awards were held on October 7 where all of Korea’s top musical actors and actresses gathered for a night of celebration and accolades.

Kim So Hyun first gave her acceptance speech as she said, “After I got married and had a child, I took a long break but I’m thankful that I got to do ‘Elizabeth,'” and “I don’t know how long it’s been since I’ve stood on this stage. Thank you to everyone who came to our show.”

She also mentioned Kim Junsu by saying, “Junsu, I’m so thankful that I could do ‘Elizabeth’ with you. I also thank Jo Seung Woo and Ock Joo Hyun.”

Jo Seung Woo was the next to give his thanks and said, “I didn’t know I would receive this. I thought I wasn’t very popular these days,” and “I’m so thankful that I could receive this with Junsu. Thank you for loving our musical. I will dedicate this award to the audience.”

Ock Joo Hyun followed, “Thank you for giving me this unexpected award.” She also mentioned Kim Junsu by saying, “Junsu, thank you so much,” and “After Junsu came into the musical industry, the voting polls has beecome more active.”

Finally Kim Junsu commented, “Thank you. I came here to present the award for the Best Male Lead but I’m so happy that I got to receive an award as well,” and “I always say this so much but I think I have received this award due to the power of the audience. Thank you to all who have worked with ‘Elizabeth.'”
