"Tough As Iron" to Hit US Theaters This Friday

Heads up, US Soompiers! “Tough As Iron,” starring Yoo Ah In, is coming your way!

In “Tough As Iron,” Yoo Ah In plays the role of Gang Chul, a young man who spends his time caring for his sick mother (Kim Hae Sook). Set in Busan, the film introduces Gang Chul as the embodiment of Busan people – seemingly tough on the outside, but gentle on the inside. Despite a life of hardship, Gang Chul has a cheerful spirit, even when his mother develops dementia and often cannot recognize him. When his mother’s sickness suddenly worsens, and his best friend encounters money problems with the Yakuza, Gang Chul has no choice but to get involved with the gang for the ones he love.

On October 11th, “Tough As Iron,” which received rave reviews from critics, will be officially released to the following select US theaters:
