Actress Byun Jung Soo Renews Her Wedding Vows Before Surgery

Actress Byun Jung Soo, most recently in the drama “Ruby Ring,” is garnering attention for her wedding vow renewal ceremony.

On the October 12 episode of MBC‘s “People Are Good,” the show visited Byun Jung Soo and her husband’s renewal wedding which was held before her surgery of thyroid carcinoma. 

Byun Jung Soo’s husband reflected back when his wife was diagnosed with the disease and said, “We set the operation date, but put that off. I was against the idea, but still we postponed it till about two months later because of the renewal ceremony and volunteer work. My wife really wanted this ceremony, and I couldn’t refuse her. It was hard waiting.”

Netizens who saw this episode said, “Her husband is really awesome,” “He must have been so worried,” “I can see how much he worries about her.”

Meanwhile, it is revealed that all the money collected from this ceremony will be donated.
