Singer Nami Returns to the Music Scene After 17 Years

Singer Nami, who sang many big hits during the 80s and 90s, is planning a comeback mid-November with a digital single. This is her first single album since the release of “Persuasion” in 1996, and her first appearance back on television since “Change,” which was released in 1992.

As news of her comeback spread, fans of 80s and 90s K-Pop are anticipating whether Nami will return with innovative music and performances staying true to the musical and fashion icon she was back in her heydays.

TGS, the label releasing Nami’s new single stated, “Nami’s innovative ideas have not change even though it has been over 10 years since her last album. We are planning her comeback thoroughly and accordingly.”

Nami debuted when she was six years old at the U.S. Military Base in Korea. She is a legendary figure who took on many different genres and achieved multi big hits, such as, “Forever Friends,” “Round Round,” “Like an Indian Doll,” and “Sad Fate.” She is also mother to singer Choi Jung Chul
