miss A's Suzy Makes First Official Public Appearance Since Dating Rumor

On October 20, media outlets reported that miss A member Suzy made her first public appearance at the “K-Pop World Festival in Changwon” ever since the dating rumors first began to spread about her and fellow “Gu Family Book” co-star Sung Joon. The starlet appeared to be unaffected by the rumors and presented her usual bright and cheery self. 

In related news, the”K-Pop World Festival” is an annual event organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It was started back in 2011 with the intent to bring Hallyu fans from all over the world to South Korea, thereby fusing the culture of Korea with the cultures of various countries from all over the world. Previous winners came from Kazakhstan, Czech Republic, Indonesia, and the Philippines! Grand prizes are awarded in the categories of performance and vocals. 

This year around 58 countries participated in the competition with over 60,000 participants. Out of 80 teams, 15 were invited to perform onstage at the “K-Pop World Festival” after going through a preliminary round of voting by viewers. 

K-Pop groups like miss A, EXO, Infinite, Teen Top, Rainbow, and B.A.P also joined the participants on stage to perform! 

The performances will be aired sometime in November through KBS 2TV and KBS-World. The broadcast is expected to air in 88 countries and reach over 200 million viewers.
