Ailee Puts on a Successful Showcase for Japanese Debut

On October 21, Ailee put on a successful show at the “Ailee Japan Showcase Live-up!!! Next Vol. 2,” held at the O-East concert hall located in Shibuya, Tokyo. Her Japanese debut single, “Heaven” is due for release on November 6.

At the showcase, Ailee performed her hit songs, “Heaven”, “I’ll Show You,” “U&I,” and “Ice Flower.” She also performed, “Crazy in Love,” “Umbrella,” and “If I Ain’t Got You.” As an encore performance, Ailee sang her debut song “Heaven” in Japanese.

About 1,300 people gathered to watch Ailee perform. They cheered Ailee’s name and sang along with her as they enjoyed the show.

Ailee’s management company in Japan stated, “We planned for about 1,000 people to be present at the show, but there were so many fans and music officials that not all of them were able to watch the show. There was more interest for Ailee than we expected. Fans as well as music officials were blown away by Ailee’s performance.”

Ailee will remain in Japan and promote her album through interviews and TV and radio appearances. On November 4 to 10, Ailee will promote her debut single while touring cities around Japan including Fukuoka, Sapporo, Osaka, Nagoya, and Tokyo to put on event performances.

Ailee’s Japanese debut single will be released on November 6. It will include the Japanese version of “Heaven” and an original Japanese track titled, “Starlight.”
