Superstar K4’s Yoo Seung Woo Releases Acoustic Version of EXO’s "Growl"

Yoo Seung Woo of “Superstar  K4” covered EXO’s “Growl,” exhibiting his music range and talent.

On October 29, CJ E&M’s official Youtube channel posted a video of Yoo Seung Woo’s acoustic cover of “Growl,” displaying the singer’s ability to transform the upbeat pop song into an acoustic, soulful piece. The 16-year-old singer, donning a black and white look, gave a new twist to EXO’s hit song by managing to start the cover with a slow, acoustic melody, and end with the familiar chords of the original song.

Called as the “Music Boy,” the young singer’s ability to simultaneously play the guitar while belting out high notes without missing a beat through the sudden changes in tempo validated the singer’s special musical talent. Although showing his mature vocals, the young age of Yoo Seung Woo brings great anticipation towards the future of the singer’s musical career.
