First Official Concept Images of Jang Geun Suk in "Beautiful Man"

The upcoming KBS2TV’s drama “Beautiful Man” released first concept images of main actor, Jang Geun Suk.

Jang Geun Suk, set to play the character Dokko Matae, dressed fittingly in the released concept images. The photo, revealed on October 30, shows a stylish Jang Geun Suk, relaying his character’s confidence through his expressions and poses.

“Beautiful Man” Dokko Matae lives the life of a man whose beautiful face and beaming aura makes every woman’s head turn. Labeled as “the face that can change history,” Jang Geun Suk’s character conveys the lifestyle of a woman catcher whose mischievous ability to grab women’s attentions stems from his beautiful looks.

In regards to the actor’s ability to play the role, the production team of “Beautiful Man” commented, “Starting from the production phase, we were sure that ‘Jang Geun Suk = Dokko Matae,’” and further complimented the actor by saying, “Jang Geun Suk seems to be the only actor who could fully digest the character, Dokko Matae.”

The concept images of Jang Geun Suk reflect how the actor falls in sync with Dokko Matae’s image. A “Beautiful Man” representative stated, “Jang Geun Suk not only has Dokko Matae’s visuals, but the actor also perfectly prepared Dokko Matae’s speech, facial expressions, and gestures.”

Set to broadcast its first episode in November, the drama depicts the story of beautiful man Dokko Matae who meets 10 wealthy women who fall under the top 1% of successful women in his quest to achieve his goals. However, singer IU’s plain Jane character Kim Bo Tong’s deep love for Dokko Matae makes the story of “Beautiful Man” an unpredictable drama about success.

 “Beautiful Man,” starring Jang Geun Suk, IU, Han Chae Young, Lee Jang Woo, and So Yoo Jin,  is set to air its first episode on November 11 at 11 PM KST.
