Lee Soo Geun Said to Be Leaving “1N2D”
Following the departure of Joo Won, (possibly) Kim Jong Min, Sung Shi Kyung and Yoo Hae Jin, it looks like comedian Lee Soo Geun will be the next “1 Night 2 Days” (henceforth, “1N2D“) member leaving the cast.
On November 6, his agency SM C&C revealed that Lee Soo Geun has decided to step down from the show. They added that with the changes in the show’s production team and new format, Lee Soo Geun has decided that it is time to leave the show. Lee Soo Geun has been a member of “1N2D” since the show’s first season in 2007.
However, the KBS side has been cautious, commenting only that, “Nothing has been decided.” They added that not just Lee Soo Geun, but other members have also raised the topic of leaving the show, and that further confirmation is needed from the show’s production team.
The KBS variety department is said to be in the middle of discussions for revamping the program. While concrete details are still unknown, Seo Soo Min CP (“Gag Concert”) and Yoo Ho Jin PD have been brought in for Season 3, and further member changes can be expected as the reshuffling process continues.
