Seo In Guk Confirms He Really Didn't Know Who the Husband Was Till the Very End of "Reply 1997"
Singer and actor Seo In Guk said he “did not know who Sung Siwon’s (played by Jung Eunji) husband was until the last filming of ‘Reply 1997′.”
On November 6, Seo In Guk had an interview session with Expo News. When he was asked, “Did you really not know who was the husband while you were filming ‘Reply 1997′?” he burst into laughter.
“I really didn’t know. Seriously,” Seo In Guk insisted as he waved his hand. “Even when the script for episode 15 came out, the director (Shin Won Ho) didn’t tell us. I think he thought if we knew who the husband was, it would come out unconsciously in our acting.”
He added, “All the cast members went up to him and asked him who the husband was. We asked him for reasons why we shouldn’t know, but he just answered, ‘Wait until episode 16 script comes out.’ We had to redo the filming of Yoon Yoon Jae (played by Seo In Guk) wearing the wedding ring for episode 16. We couldn’t figure out who the husband was because the director had the leading male roles act out the same scenes. It was really difficult to connect the action shots together for episode 16.”
Seo In Guk showed interested in appearing as a cameo on “Reply 1994” and said, “I would definitely do it if the director asks me. I think it would be fun.” However, “If Yoon Jae appears in ‘Reply 1994,’ he would be in middle school. I can’t appear on the show with the hairstyle I had in middle school. I would need to have Leslie Chung’s hairstyle,” he said with a frown on his face.
Meanwhile, Seo In Guk’s first film, “No Breathing” is currently showing in theaters.
