Soulful Voice Yoo Seung Eun Comebacks with “Healing”

Known for her powerful voice, the runner up of “The Voice Korea Season 1” Yoo Seung Eun is back with her new single, “Healing.”

In her new single, Yoo Seung Eun expresses sad emotion with her soulful voice. The acoustic sound completes the blues rock sound, a genre not many K-Pop artists have attempted before. Lee Ki and Jang Won Kyu, who have worked with many female artists including, Ailee, Sistar’s Hyorin, Ivy and In Soon Ee, worked together to create a song that is so customized that it can be sung only by Yoo Seung Eun.

The melody of the gayageum (traditional Korean instrument with twelve strings) completes the sound of the track. Moreover, the performance of the dance stars of “Dancing with the Stars Korea Season 5” is attracting much attention to the music video. The music video is expected to draw people’s attention through combining gayageum, ballet, modern dance, and sports dance in a “fusion collaboration.”

Furthermore, Yoo Seung Eun’s coach on “The Voice Korea Season 1,” Baek Ji Young, participated as the visual director directing the styling, hair, make-up, and choreography of the music video.
