"Beautiful Man" Releases New Photos and a Video Teaser

New photos and a video teaser of KBS2TV’s “Beautiful Man” stir up more anticipation for the upcoming drama.

On November 8, the KBS2TV’s drama released new images of actor Jang Geun Suk and singer IU for their upcoming drama, “Beautiful Man.” The couple photo shoot revealed the possible intimate, but light-natured relationship between Jang Geun Suk’s and IU’s characters.

As the new images convey a seemingly swooned IU, Jang Geun Suk’s pose and cool stares away from and to the singer allude to the character relationships in “Beautiful Man.”

Furthermore, the first teaser clip of the drama was revealed on November 6 after the episode of “Secret Love,” heightening anticipation. The 27 seconds clip portrayed the beautiful Dokko Matae, played by Jang Geun Suk, being drawn to a wealthy Hong Yoora, played by Han Chae Young. However, when IU’s plain jane character Kim Bo Tong is swooned by Dokko Matae at first sight, the beautiful man’s love game begins between the two ladies.

“Beautiful Man” follows Dokko Matae’s road of becoming Korea’s beautiful man by learning the methods of success from 10 of Korea’s top 1% women. The drama, starring Jang Geun Suk, IU, Han Chae Young, and Lee Jang Woo, is set to air its first episode on November 20 at 10PM KST.
