Lee Min Ho to Hold an Encore Performance of His Global Tour in Seoul Early Next Year
Actor Lee Min Ho will hold an encore performance of his global tour “My Everything” in January 2014 in Seoul.
“My Everything” was an album released by the actor in May earlier this year as a means to repay the love he received from Korean and foreign fans.
A representative of Lee Min Ho’s agency, StarHaus Entertainment, stated on November 11, “We received many requests from fans to bring back the Lee Min Ho fan meeting and show. We will be putting on the encore show on January 18, 2014 at the Olympic Park Handball Stadium in Seoul.”
Moreover, “We were able to do the show only once in Korea due to his overseas schedule, and many Korean fans were greatly disappointed.” The original plan was to have the first and final show in Korea, but Lee Min Ho had to go to the U.S. for the filming of ‘The Heirs’ and the Beijing show held in August became the last show.”
Accordingly, in order to give Lee Min Ho sufficient time to prepare for the show after “The Heirs” end, the agency scheduled the finale show for early next year.
Lee Min Ho’s global tour, which first opened its curtains in May in Seoul, made stops in Japan (Yokohama, Osaka), Malaysia, Philippines, Taiwan, and China (Shanghai, Beijing). The show was held in eight cities in six different countries for a total of nine shows and attracted approximately 52,000 fans proving Lee Min Ho as a top actor in South Korea as well as a leading force in the Hallyu industry.
At the Beijing show, fans sang an a cappella for Lee Min Ho’s departure, creating a sea of tears. Lee Min Ho described his global tour experience and said, “It was fun and fantastic. It was like a summer night’s dream.”
