S#arp's Seo Ji Young to Become a Mother in May

Seo Ji Young of the co-ed group S#arp is 15 weeks into her pregnancy with her first child.

The former first generation idol is set to give birth some time in May of next year. Seo Ji Young met her husband, who works in the financial industry, in 2010 and the two were married in Seoul in 2011. The two went to the United States for their honeymoon and currently live in Gangnam.

For those of you unfamiliar with S#arp, the group debuted in 1998 and was one of the more popular coed groups at the time. The other members of S#arp are Lee Ji Hye, Jang Suk Hyun, and Chris. The group broke up in 2002, and Seo Ji Young went into acting. She appeared in dramas such as “I’m sorry I Love You, “Strong Woman,” and “Dae Mul.”
