FT Island Misses Love “Madly” for New Album and MV

Prepare yourselves, FT Island are returning with their new song “Madly.”

FT Island revealed their new music video for “Madly” on midnight of November 18. “Madly” represents FT Island’s ballad style, with the music video portraying scenes of a beautiful reed field to that of a dark, winter night inside of a street tunnel.

The music video conveys the deeper meaning of the lyrics through leader Choi Jong Hoon’s acting. As Choi Jong Hoon plays the main character of the music video, the transformation of the leader in to an emotional pianist sets the tone towards FT Island’s efforts to provide meaningful music.

The band defines their musical maturity as “Madly” depicts the depth of emotions that have molded the members since their debut six years ago. Last September, FT Island released their mini album “Thanks To” to celebrate their six years anniversary.

“Madly” is part of FT Island’s 5th mini album, “The Mood.” The new mini album also comprise of the members’ composed songs including Choi Jong Hoon’s “You I Can’t Have,” Lee Jae Jin’s “The Way in to You,” and Lee Hong Ki’s “Siren.”
