Younha Chosen as Honorary Ambassador for the “2013 AIDS Prevention Campaign”

Singer Younha has been appointed an honorary ambassador for the “2013 AIDS Prevention Campaign.”

The AIDS Prevention Campaign greets its seventh year since its beginning in 2007. It is a meaningful event, which spreads awareness of AIDS as well as promoting the prevention of the disease.

Younha will continue the work of last year’s honorary ambassadors, singer Kim Yoon Ah, girl group Dal-Shabet, rapper and producer Verbal Jint and indie-jazz group Urban Zakapa. She has been appointed along with singer JK Kim Dong Wook and girl group SPICA.

After being appointed honorary ambassador, Younha finished shooting the video and photos for the campaign with JK Kim Dong Wook and SPICA. She is planning to actively work for the campaign in various ways.

Moreover, Younha will perform at the “2013 Aids Prevention Campaign Concert” with artists including JK Kim Dong Wook, SPICA, Davichi, VIXX, BtoB, Urban Zakapa, and Jin Joo on November 26 at the Stardard Chartered Hall in Jongro-gu, Seoul.

In connection to Youha’s appointment, a representative of her agency, Wealive Entertainment, stated, “Younha feels proud to have been appointed an honorary ambassador of AIDS Prevention Campaign and feels a sense of duty to take initiative in the meaningful work it tries to achieve. She will work hard as honorary ambassador, so many people will gain the correct knowledge about AIDS.”

Meanwhile, Younha will release a new track, “I’m Fine” on November 26.
