Cast for "I Need Romance" Season 3 Finalized: Sung Joon, Kim So Yeon, Nam Goong Min, Wang Ji Won

The cast of “I Need Romance” season three has been finalized with the addition of Nam Goong Min and rookie actress Wang Ji Won!

On November 21, CJ E&M announced, “Nam Goong Min and Wang Ji Won will be starring in ‘I Need Romance’ season 3, which will start in the middle of January.”

Nam Goong Min will be playing the role of Kang Tae Yoon, who is Shin Joo Yeon‘s (played by Kim So Yeon) work senior and a perfectionist, who will try anything to achieve his goals. Kang Tae Yoon is experienced with women and is good at wooing them but deep inside, he doesn’t believe in love. In the drama, Nam Goong Min will be having a love triangle with Kim So Yeon and Wang Ji Won.

Nam Goong Min commented, “Since the series was already loved so much in the past, I’m very excited but I feel the pressure too. Since I will be working with good colleagues and a good staff, I will work hard to meet the viewers’ expectations for the drama.”

Rookie actress Wang Ji Won will be playing Oh Se Ryung, who is a top model and stylist. Oh Se Ryung is Shin Joo Yeon’s friend as well as her rival. Oh Se Ryung has always had men chasing after her since high school and believes that dating is like an energy booster. She sticks to her emotions and instincts rather than reason. Kang Tae Yoon is the only man she truly loved and will be battling for him with her friend Shin Joo Yeon.

Wang Ji Won used to be a ballerina and also debuted as a model. She was also in the KBS drama, “Good Doctor.” Wang Ji Won commented, “It’s such an honor to be playing such an attractive character as Oh Se Ryung. I am trying my best to perfectly portray my character so please look forward to it. I think I will have a very happy winter this year while filming for ‘I Need Romance’ season three. I’m so excited.”

So the main cast of Nam Goong Min, Wang Ji Won, Kim So Yeon and Sung Joon as been confirmed for the third season of “I Need Romance.” Many are hoping that this new cast will also have the excellent chemistry between the season two leads, Jung Yoo Mi and Lee Jin Wook.

“I Need Romance” season three will be set in a home shopping company. It will show how the alpha-girls of this age survive and the competition, friendship and love that revolves around women in their twenties and thirties.
