G-Dragon Clarifies His Relationship with Hong Kong Model Angelababy

On November 22, G-Dragon clarified that he is just friends with Hong Kong actress and model Angelababy (Angela Yeung) at the artist welcome meeting press conference held at the Hong Kong Asia World Expo Arena for the “2013 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA).”

G-Dragon met Angelababy at the after-party for the MAMA last year, and afterwards, Angelababy posted online that she was a fan of G-Dragon’s. G-Dragon confirmed at the press conference that they met at an after-party, but he said they didn’t go out together after the Hong Kong concert.

During the rest of the press conference, when G-Dragon was asked about Paris Hilton’s attendance at the MAMA this year, he revealed his excitement at getting to meet a star.

On his performance at the 2013 MAMA, he said, “I’m preparing a variety of different things. I will be putting a lot of thought into the performance as well as the red carpet appearance.”

The MAMA started in 1999 as a music video festival, and has been held in Korea for ten years. In 2009, it was held in Macao, and began it’s run as Asia’s representative music award ceremony.

The 2013 MAMA was held on November 22 8pm (KST) at Hong Kong’s biggest stage, the Hong Kong Asia World Expo.
