FT Island Beats miss A and Trouble Maker to Top Weekly Sales Chart

FT Island‘s newest album “The Mood” has surpassed miss A and Trouble Maker to take the number one spot on the weekly album sales chart.

According to Hanteo charts on November 25, FT Island’s fifth mini-album “The Mood” has risen to the top of the charts for being the most sold album. “The Mood” was released on November 18.

FT Island commented, “We are so happy and thankful that many people are taking an interest in our new album. We will show you a better stage.”

In this album, FT Island showcases their matured sentiments and skills, especially in the title track “Madly” along with three other tracks that were written and composed by the members themselves.

FT Island’s leader Choi Jong Hoon‘s self-composed “Can’t Have You” has received a lot of attention after the band performed it for their comeback stage. Lee Jae Jin‘s “The Way Into You” and Lee Hong Ki’s “Siren” is also receiving positive reviews.

“The Mood” is not only number one in album sales in Korea but also in overseas charts such as Japan’s Tower Records and HMV.

Meanwhile, FT Island is actively promoting “Madly” at the moment.
