K-Drama’s Return of Leading Ladies – Jun Ji Hyun, Han Hye Jin, YoonA, Lee Yeon Hee
The hottest actresses will be making their return to the small screen, and December’s dramas just got a lot more exciting!
Han Hye Jin will be making her comeback and return to entertainment after her marriage to soccer star Ki Sung Yueng with the SBS drama “Kind Words.” Han Hye Jin is a veteran leading actress with starring roles in 2012 jTBC drama “Syndrome,” 2011 KBS drama “Thorn Birds,” 2010 SBS drama “Jejungwon,” and 2006 MBC drama “Jumong.”
Girls’ Generation’s YoonA will also be making a hotly anticipated return to acting with KBS drama “Prime Minister and I.” YoonA notably had lead roles in 2012 KBS drama “Love Rain” and in 2009 MBC drama “Cinderella Man.”
Fans of Lee Yeon Hee must be happy with all the projects that the actress has been involved with this year. In 2013, in addition to MBC drama “Gu Family Book” and film “Marriage Blue,” Lee Yeon Hee will have a lead role in MBC drama “Miss Korea.”

In SBS drama “Kind Words,” Han Hye Jin stars as Na Eun Jin who retires from a major company to become a freelancer and is married to Kim Seong Su, played by Lee Sang Woo. Na Eun Jin dated Kim Seong Su throughout college, waited for him to finish his mandatory military service, and even helped him to find a job. The college sweethearts finally married after he got a job at a bank. Na Eun Jin believes that as long as she works hard, everything will work out. But, in a moment, everything Na Eun Jin believes in is shaken, and Na Eun Jin finds herself slowly drifting away from Kim Seong Su.
SBS drama “Warm Words” will premiere on December 2, 2013 and air on Mondays and Tuesdays.
In KBS drama “Prime Minister and I,” YoonA stars as Nam Da Jung who is a bumbling reporter that becomes a nanny for Prime Minister Kwon Yool, played by Lee Bum Soo, and later finds a place in his heart.

In MBC drama “Miss Korea,” Lee Yeon Hee stars as Oh Ji Young who was the most beautiful girl in high school, known as a “queenka” but now works as an elevator girl. Her beauty does not go unnoticed and she is transformed into a contender for the Miss Korea title.
MBC drama “Miss Korea” will premiere in December 2013 and air on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
In SBS drama “My Lover from the Stars,” Jeon Ji Hyun stars as Cheon Song Yi who is a “Hallyu Goddess” that has everything she could possibly desire: fame, fortune, and a handsome fiancé. Cheon Song Yi then meets Do Min Jun, an alien who has lived on Earth for 400 years, played by Kim Soo Hyun. Do Min Jun finds himself charmed by the prickly actress, and, likewise, Cheon Song Yi finds herself attracted to the skeptical alien.
SBS drama “My Lover from the Stars” will premiere on December 18, 2013 and air on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
