“Reply 1994” Jung Woo's Past Movie Appearances Draws New Interest

As the current hottest actor in the entertainment these days because of his role in “Reply 1994,” Jung Woo’s past movie career has been gaining interest.

SBS morning show “Good Morning” aired a segment on December 2 on actor Jung Woo’s past film appearances. He is currently appearing on popular tvN Friday-Saturday drama “Reply 1994.”

Jung Woo played a thug who bullies Kwon Sang Woo in the 2003 hit romantic-comedy film “My Tutor Friend,” and while he had few scenes, he left a lasting impression on movie audiences.

He has also appeared in movies such as “Bloody Tie,” “Conduct Zero,” “The President’s Last Bang,” and “The City of Violence.” Despite having a lengthy filmography on his resume, his profile has remained relatively low, only coming into prominence with 2009 movie “Wish,” for which he received the Best New Actor award at the 2010 Grand Bell Awards.

Jung Woo has a total of 18 movies and 10 dramas under his belt. He is currently starring in “Reply 1994” on tvN in the role of Trash.
