Lee Min Ho Shed More Tears in "The Heirs" Than Any Other Role

Actor Lee Min Ho revealed that since his debut, he has never shed tears for his role as much as he did in “The Heirs.”

OnDecember 4, episode 17 of  “The Heirs” was aired. With the real trial pressing, the male lead Kim Tan (Lee Min Ho) ended up crying for 7 times throughout this episode! It is unusual for male leads to show his tears such many times like this.

An insider from “The Heirs” commented, “Since the debut, Lee Min Ho has never cried harder in one episode of dramas. So many emotional scenes kept continuing and it was really heartbreaking.” This shows how much Kim Tan’s heart kept feeling struggling.

This episode started with a crying scene of Kim Tan. Eun Sang (Park Shin Hye) left Kim Tan alone in an empty house, he fell on his knees and broke down crying. Then he started to wander around streets, lost in memories and shed tears of regret. Kim Tan got home, but still had no self control and couldn’t hold back his tears. He cried in frond of his father and also in the darkness of his own room. At the end of the episode, he got involved a friction with a passerby and punch on. He fell on the street and had tears of resignation in his eyes.

In the episode 18 aired yesterday, Kim Tan was again seen crying and screaming at his older brother to send him to the US.

Although the tears had respective meanings in a few different situations, the one thing in common was that they were all the hot tears of a man who lost passionate love.
