Lee Joon Withdraws from Movie "Botox," MBLAQ to Release Album in January
Singer and actor Lee Joon of MBLAQ has withdrawn from the movie “Botox“ due to conflicting schedules.
A representative of the idol’s agency J.Tune Camp revealed to Sports Seoul on December 5, “The filming was supposed to begin in mid-December, but for various reasons, it has been constantly delayed. MBLAQ will start their album promotions in January, and if the filming schedule keeps being pushed back, it will disrupt the album promotions. As a result, it was natural for him to drop out of ‘Botox.'”
After his outstanding performance in “Rough Play,” Lee Joon has been receiving numerous casting offers. However, his next project has not yet been confirmed. “Nothing has been decided yet,” the source continued referring to the casting calls from director Ryu Seung Wan‘s “Veteran” and Lim Sang Soo‘s “No Today for Us.”
The representative concluded with, “We are considering many offers. Nothing is confirmed yet, we have just had a meeting or two with the movies’ representatives. First, we will focus on MBLAQ’s activities.”
