FTISLAND's Lee Hong Ki Apologizes for Embarrassing Wardrobe Malfunction on

FTISLAND‘s Lee Hong Ki experienced an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction when performing live on SBS’ “Inkigayo.” Yet, you can only applaud the singer for his ability to carry on singing without panicking.

On December 8, the lead vocal of F.T. Island wrote on his Twitter, “I apologize to all the viewers of ‘Inkigayo.’ My hand position was weird, wasn’t it? But it’s because my zipper was open.”

During the live performance for the band’s new song, “Madly,” lead vocal Lee Hong Ki’s hand placement was very vague. The singer’s left hand was placed in an awkward area, and did not change positions even after the song had ended.

Although viewers might have felt a bit uncomfortable, the clarification of the singer’s hand placement can all put us at ease, and bring up at least a small smirk on our faces. Despite what could have been a major wardrobe malfunction, the singer caught the problem just in time, and continued to sing the song without any hindrance.

Good job, Lee Hong Ki, in keeping your cool!
