Comedian Ahn Sang Tae Announces Second Marriage

Comedian and actor Ahn Sang Tae is set to be married on December 22, following a two-year relationship with his other half.

The bride-to-be is four years younger than Ahn Sang Tae, and is said to be a beauty with talent. She studied at Hongik University’s College of Fine Arts and is an illustrator-writer who has worked on many advertisements. She also did the album jacket illustration for Ahn Sang Tae’s self-written hip hop digital single “Anstro Boy.”

On the bride-to-be, Ahn Sang Tae said, “I fell for her beauty and playful nature. While we work in slightly different fields, we give each other inspiration in what we do.”

He also revealed, “Now that I have a stable family, I would like to greet TV audiences with more relaxed and varied appearances.”

Ahn Sang Tae debuted through KBS “Gag Concert” in 2004, gaining popularity through his role as Ahn Uh Bung on the home shopping corner on “Gag Concert.” He has also crossed over into acting, appearing on dramas such “Hooray for Love,” “Rooftop Prince,” “Horse Doctor” and “Ugly Alert.” He’s also appeared in 2013 movie “Precious Love” and will act in “The King’s Wrath,” a movie set to be released in 2014 starring Hyun Bin. 

Ahn Sang Tae was previously married (2005), divorcing four to five years later.

Besides appearing on screen, Ahn Sang Tae has also performed his own one-man show, “Are You Alright,” emceed for Samsung Passion Talk and participated in software copyright education programs.
