
PSY's Music Video Is Most Watched K-Pop MV on YouTube for Second Straight Year
PSY has been named as the man behind the most watched K-Pop music video on YouTube for the second consecutive year.
On December 10, YouTube released a list of top 10 most watched K-Pop music videos. According to this list, PSY’s “Gentleman” came in first with around 600 million views this year. Following his 2012 hit “Gangnam Style,” PSY’s “Gentleman” came out on top once again this year.
Right behind PSY came Girls’ Generation‘s “I Got a Boy” in second place. Girls’ Generation’s “Dancing Queen” ranked fifth and “Galaxy Supernova” ranked sixth, making three of their videos on the top 10 list.
EXO took third and fourth place with “Growl” and “Wolf,” f(x)‘s “Rum Pum Pum Pum” took seventh place, 2NE1‘s “Falling In Love” ranked ninth and 4minute‘s “What’s Your Name” came in at tenth place.
Meanwhile, the three most subscribed YouTube channels as of November 30 are PSY’s official channel, SMTOWN‘s channel and Big Bang‘s official channel, respectively.
