Actress Han Ji Min Explains Why She Played a Younger Version of Song Hye Gyo

Actress Han Ji Min revealed a behind-the-scenes story relating to the drama “All-In.”

On the episode of MBC’s “Section TV Entertainment News,” which aired on December 15, Han Ji Min and Jung Jae Young were interviewed for their upcoming movie, “Plan Man.”

During the interview, Han Ji Min expressed her feelings about being cast in the drama “All-In.” “As an actress debuting in dramas for the first time, I was lucky to even be cast for the child role.”

She said, “’All-In’ was successful, and I was also able to receive much support from my role.” She revealed, “Actually Song Hye Gyo and I are the same age. In the drama, I played a middle school student. I was much more chubbier back then.”

After listening to the story Jung Jae Young commented, “I was also surprised. How could two same aged actresses play the younger and the older version of the same character?”

Meanwhile, Han Ji Min’s new movie, “Plan Man” is scheduled to premiere in January 2014.
