Jung Eun Ji, Seo In Gook, Hoya, and “Reply 1997” Cast Captured on Set of “Reply 1994”

Fans were pleasantly surprised last week when they were greeted with the old cast of “Reply 1997” during the recent episode of tvN’s “Reply 1994.”

On December 16, actor Lee Shi Un posted on his Twitter, “Reply 1997 children,” along with a photo of the five friends. The photo showed A Pink’s Jung Eun Ji, Lee Shi Un, Shin So Yul, and INFINITE’s Hoya posing or the camera. Next to INFINITE’s Hoya, Seo In Guk’s body was recognized through his name tag that read Yoon Yoon Jae, Seo In Guk’s character.

Although Seo In Guk’s face was turned away, the fact that the five friends had come together to cameo in “Reply 1994” grabbed the attention of the drama’s fans.

Another photo posted on the actor’s Twitter showed the friends sitting together in the backseat of the bus, the usual sitting place of the five friends. Along with the photo, Lee Shi Un wrote, “Fun ‘Reply 1994’ film set.. Jung Woo said that it was because of me that it was loud and crazy.. yes that must be it..” The group photo showed the friends posing with the peace sign, portraying the friendly atmosphere of the filming set. 

Despite the drama’s conclusion last year, the reunion of the “Reply 1997” cast members one year later reminded us of the sweet and innocent love between the characters that had won all of our hearts.

Currently, tvN’s “Reply 1994” airs every Fridays and Saturdays at 9PM (KST).
