YG Entertainment Releases Park Bom and Lee Hi's Single and Jacket Image One Day Early + Teaser Video

YG Entertainment recently announced through their official blog that they will be releasing Park Bom and Lee Hi’s cover of the famous Christmas hit single, “All I Want for Christmas Is You” one day early! The newly formed subunit released their digital single and jacket image on December 19 at noontime. 

According to the representatives at YG Entertainment, “Due to the number of requests from fans curious to hear a song from these two singers, we decided to release the digital single earlier than originally planned. Initially, we were planning to release it at 12am on December 20 but instead it will be available online on December 19.”

The hotly anticipated single is none other than Bom&Hi’s cover of Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You.” The girls’ version of the popular hit will be different than the original in choice of tempo and expression. It will most likely resonate with lonely singles on Christmas Day, with its jazz ballad melody and lyrics. 

The unit formation was the result of a collaboration between YG Entertainment and Samsung Electronics, with the single distributed by Samsung Music.
