One Day Left Until the Release of IU’s Repackage Album, “Modern Times – Epilogue”
The release of IU’s repackaged version of her third album, “Modern Times – Epilogue,” is just a day away.
On December 20 at noon, IU will be releasing her new track “Friday” included in her repackage album through various music sites along with the music video.
Clear to its title, “Modern Times – Epilogue” is an extension of her “Modern Times” album. The repackaged album includes the 13 tracks on the original album along with two new tracks, “Friday,” and “Crayon.”
“Friday” was both written and composed by IU herself. IU played the guitar for the accompaniment of the medium-tempo acoustic pop song. The song also features boy group History member and friend Jang Yi Jeong. It expresses the emotions of a couple who begins to develop feelings for each other.
On the other hand, “Crayon” is a lounge track consisting of a bossa nova rhythm and a vintage sound with a mix of swing brass and percussion. The song will be used as the OST for KBS 2TV’s “Beautiful Man” which stars IU.
The repackage album will also include two DVDs and a special booklet consisting of behind the scenes videos and images of IU’s “Modern Times” concert.
