Lee Min Ho Receives Record-Breaking Amount of Questions from Fans, Beats EXO-M and Jang Geun Suk

Actor Lee Min Ho‘s fans have demonstrated their undying support by helping him break a record!

On December 20, the actor held an interview session titled “Wei Pang Tan Interview” through a Chinese SNS site. The fans could send him questions for an hour, and the amount of questions he received totaled up to 530,000, breaking all previous records with an impressive figure. As a result, Hallyu leader Jang Geun Suk dropped down to second place with 430,000 questions, and EXO-M currently holds third place with 410,000 questions.

Sina Communications, the company running Weibo, praised the achievement, “Lee Min Ho’s popularity is almost like a syndrome. In such a short time, he became the first person to receive as many as 520,000 questions from the fans. Lee Min Ho is friendly and humorous, but still warm, exactly like Kim Tan.”

To show his gratitude for the fans’ support, the actor responded to the questions in a way that showed off his sense of humor. A fan sent him, “My boyfriend feels jealous because I am following you around,” to which he jokingly reacted with, “It’s okay, you’re doing a very good job.” 

In related news, Lee Min Ho will participate in the 2013 Baidu Fei Dian Awards on December 22, and he will be joined by the brightest stars of the Chinese entertainment industry.
