Jeon Do Yeon On Her First Impression of Her

Jeon Do Yeon recently appeared on CGV’s “Movietalk” and talked about the rough behind-the-scenes of filming for her new movie based on a true story, “The Way Home,” as well as her co-star for the film, Go Soo.

On the reason why she chose this particular movie, Jeon Do Yeon said, “‘The Way Home’ is the first movie where I couldn’t put down the scenario all throughout filming. It was to the point where I held it while I was sleeping, too,” revealing her sheer affection for the movie.

Filming for the movie, the cast and crew ventured to the Caribbean Sea, France, the Dominican Republic, as well as other international locations. The actress said, “It was really common for the staff to get sick under the strong sun. Sunstrokes were caught as easily as a cold. While filming, we didn’t even have time to think that it was hard.”

Jeon Do Yeon also talked about her first impression of co-star, Go Soo, who plays her husband in the movie, saying that she “wondered if he would be able to pull off an ordinary character with his unrealistic good looks.”

Finally, she spoke a little bit about the movie, “‘The Way Home’ isn’t a movie about right and wrong, but it’s a warm movie about the importance of letting go and living.”

Released on December 11, “The Way Home” is a thriller based on a true story about a woman who gets caught unknowingly smuggling drugs into France, and must make her way back home.
