Boys Republic Get Playful and Close with Fans in "L.I.U" MV

Rookie idol group Boys Republic have released a music video for “L.I.U,” just in time for Christmas.

Boys Republic’s agency, Happy Tribe Entertainment, put out the music video for “L.I.U” on various online music portals, their official YouTube channel as well as on their Facebook page.

The music video for “L.I.U” was shot during Boys Republic’s promotions in Malaysia. The video includes scenes from Boys Republic’s promotional activities, as well as staff and fans who were present. The members of the group directly participated in planning, directing and filming the video, making it more meaningful as a Christmas gift for fans.

“L.I.U,” a track of Boys Republic’s first mini-album, “Identity,” has a groovy disco beat updated with a modern sound, while the lyrics of the song reveal Boys Republic’s dating style.

Boys Republic are rapidly gaining popularity; they ranked number one on Malaysia’s KKBOX Chart with their song “You’re Special to Me” and recently held promotional events in Malaysia. They are currently preparing for their comeback early next year.
