The SeeYa and Son Ho Joon Collaborate on

Girl group The SeeYa debuted in November 2012 with “Be With You,” releasing a mini-album, “Love U,” in December 2012 containing the title track “Poison.” Now they are back with a new single album, “Tears,” and have released the music video for their title track, “More and More,” a collaboration between The SeeYa and actor Son Ho Joon (“Reply 1994”).

The SeeYa’s agency, Core Contents Media, uploaded the music video on their official YouTube channel on January 3. T-ara’s Ji Yeon and Son Ho Joon appear in the music video playing a couple in love, with Jiyeon as the terminally ill girlfriend.

Son Ho Joon’s narration sets the scene for the MV, “I have a sad love story. Rather than being a memory, I remember it as being closer to pain.”

The MV depicts the last moments between the couple. Son Ho Joon and Ji Yeon take a trip to an amusement park, where Son Ho Joon lights up the merry-go-round for his girlfriend, and they sit together in silence, enjoying their time together. She hands over with her hand knitted gloves, still a work in progress. He is in denial. “Shall we go skiing together tomorrow? We’ll have your favorite ramen and eggs, what do you think? It’ll be delicious. And… Ji Yeon-ah, let’s get married. Let’s do it together for the rest of our lives. You don’t have to reply.” She slumps down beside him mid-speech.

“More and More” is a sad mid-tempo ballad, with SeeYa’s high notes contrasting with Son Ho Joon’s warm voice, and features an acoustic arrangement with strong piano melodies.
