Two Song Place (Song Eun Yi, FTISLAND's Song Seung Hyun) Releases Parodical Music Video

Comedian Song Eun Yi and FTISLAND’s Song Seung Hyun came together for an odd duo, Two Song Place, and recently released a music video their first song, “Age-Height.”

“Age-Height” is a comical song with witty lyrics targeting the male preference of young and skinny women, and features a catchy chorus and a funny rap. The music video parodies many popular music videos from 2013, including EXO’s “Growl,” Sunmi’s “24 Hours,” missA’s “Hush,” Trouble Maker’s “Now,” 2NE1’s “Missing You,” and features various other comedians.

This is Song Eun Yi’s first comeback as a singer in 14 years, and she was unable to hide her nerves. She said, “I’ve done television for 21 years, and whenever the light would come on, I was confident and had no problem talking, but now I feel like a rookie again, who has come to the broadcast station for the first time, finding everything fresh and new.”

This duo was proposed by their agency FNC Entertainment, and gives Song Eun Yi a chance to show her singing ability, and Song Seung Hyun a chance to show off his various talents. Song Seung Hyun said “I thought it was a chance to show a new side of me, so I really gave it my all. The filming was difficult, but it was fun and quite the experience.”

The duo also said, “We recently did a radio show, and we heard that a child who is suffering from pneumonia was having a great time listening to our song, which made us really happy. We would love nothing more than if this song could make people happy.”

On any possible future projects, Song Eun Yi said, “Seung Hyun is always jamming on his guitar in the waiting room backstage, and jokes that ’the 2nd album will be acoustic.’ If this album does well, I’d love to carry on with Two Song Place as a more long term project.”
