Cool's Yuri to Get Married in Februrary

Yuri (Cha Hyun Ok, age 37) of the 90s popular mixed group, Cool, is getting married.

According to close acquaintances on January 13, Yuri has been dating her boyfriend for four years and will be walking down the aisle on February 22. The couples’ families met last month on setting the date. The location of the wedding and honeymoon is yet to be decided.   

The groom-to-be is six years younger than Yuri; he is a pro golfer and also runs a related business. The two met for the first time at a gathering with friends, and their feelings eventually evolved into love. Yuri has been travelling back and forth from the U.S. and Korea since her fiancé lives in the U.S.  

The groom-to-be is rumored to be tall and handsome with a muscular body. He is also known to be very considerate and thoughtful to Yuri.

Singer Baek Ji Young, Yuri’s best friend, appeared on MBC’s “Yoo Jae Suk Kim Won Hee’s Come to Play,” and talked about Yuri’s relationship with her now fiancé. The couple maintained its relationship and has decided to solidify their bond in marriage.

Yuri joined Cool in 1995 as the only girl member of the group. In 2006, she formed a female duet called Girlfriends with Roo’ra’s Chae Ri Na and actively appeared on variety shows. She currently runs an online clothing shopping mall.
