Comedian Yoo Se Yoon Leaves for U.S. to Attend Recording of “Saturday Night Live”

Comedian Yoo Se Yoon expressed his feelings about attending the live recording of NBC’s “Saturday Night Live (SNL).”

On the morning of January 29, Yoo Se Yoon left for New York from Incheon International Airport.

Prior to his departure, he held an interview session with a Korean entertainment new outlet and said, “It’s an honor” about being able to watch the recording of “SNL” in person and meeting the production team of the show.

When he was asked what kind of influence this trip may have on his career, he answered, “I want to eventually debut in the U.S. Perhaps this trip may turn into an opportunity for me to debut in the U.S. I hope it turns into a good opportunity.”

Yoo Se Yoon joined the cast of “SNL Korea” last year on April 13. Since then, he has been bringing laughter to viewers working with other cast members including Shin Dong Yeop, Suh Yoo Ri, Jung Sung Ho, Kim Min Kyo, Jung Myung Ok, Lee Sang Hoon, and Kim Won Hae.

Shin Dong Yeop, head of the “SNL Korea” crew, along with production directors Ahn San Hwee and Yoo Sung Mo left for New York on January 28. The production staff of “SNL” invited the members of “SNL Korea.”

The Korea team plans to visit the set and meet with the production staff of “SNL.” “SNL Korea” plans to raise their standards from the experience they gain from this trip with a new season scheduled to begin on March 1.
