[Soompi Spotlight] Block B and A-JAX Share Their Excitement for Performing for the Dream K-Pop Fantasy Concert 2 in Manila

The Dream Kpop Fantasy Concert in Manila is back once again! After a successful run last year with Girls’ Generation, INFINITE, EXO, U-KISS, Tasty and TAHITI, the concert makes waves once again with an all new line-up. Slated for the second concert are Super Junior-M, Block B,  B.A.P, BTOB, A-JAX and A-Prince.

Prior to the concert, Block B and A-JAX held a press conference last February 1 and shared their thoughts on being in the Philippines.

Rookie group A-JAX expressed their excitement in coming to Manila for the first time.

Member Seungjin described Filipino fans as “girls with pretty eyes.” Like a lot of foreigners, A-JAX said that they’d like to visit Boracay, an island that is known for its beaches.

Seems like the boys did their research before coming to Manila. They expressed their desire to try local dishes like singang and halo-halo which is similar to the Korean dessert, bingsoo.

A-JAX hinted that they would be performing one of SS501‘s songs at the concert.

The Dream Kpop Fantasy Concert 2 marks Block B’s return to the Philippines. The boys were definitely excited to perform for Filipino BBC’s once again.

Block B’s first visit to Manila was in 2011 when they performed in a special event for the Korean Cultural Center here.

When asked why they decided to come back to the Philippines, the boys said that they wanted to travel to different countries.

Kyung indulged fans who were at the press con and said “Mahal kita” (I love you) much to their delight.

Block B shared that they think that Filipino fans are “lovely and very passionate” after seeing them waiting for their arrival at the airport.
