Go Ara, Lee Seung Gi and Cha Seung Won are Possible Cast for “You’re All Surrounded”

Actress Go Ara may be joining the cast of the upcoming SBS drama “You’re All Surrounded.”

While earlier reports confirmed that Go Ara would be joining the cast, her agency, SM Entertainment dismissed casting confirmation reports,  stating that “Go Ara is currently considering the offer.”

“While it is true that Go Ara received an offer to play a female detective, nothing has been confirmed. ‘You’re All Surrounded’ is just one of the projects that Go Ara is looking at.”

The role she has been offered in “You’re All Surrounded” is for female detective Eo Soo Sun, who passes the police officer exam on her fifth try.

Go Ara’s enthusiastic performance as feisty Gyeongsangdo female Sung Na Jung on tvN’s “Reply 1994” shattered her previous image as a female goddess and earned her positive reviews for her turn in the drama.

“You’re All Surrounded” is a drama about rookie cops in their 20s, and depicts the story of the four leads who don’t have any interest in their jobs. Cha Seung Won and Lee Seung Gi are said to be positively considering roles in the drama. Lee Seung Gi and Cha Seung Won have previously been named as prospective members of the cast.

“You’re All Surrounded” will be written by Lee Jung Sun (“Ojakgyo Brothers”) and directed by Yoo In Sik (“Incarnation of Money,” “History of a Salaryman” and “Giant”). The drama will follow after “Three Days” on SBS and is expected to broadcast at the end of April.
