Go Soo Part Ways with BH Entertainment
With his contract with BH Entertainment approaching to an end, actor Go Soo decided to not re-sign with his agency. Back in 2011, the actor signed an exclusive contract with BH Entertainment, which represents Lee Byung Hun, Han Hyo Joo, and Han Ji Min. However, after disclosing his desire to seek a new home, the agency also decided to respect his decision.
According to an industry insider, “Go Soo received favorable reviews starring in films, ‘The Front Line’ and ‘Love 911,’ and drama, ‘Empire of Gold’ after signing with BH Entertainment. As much as he is on top of the list to receive cast offers, much interest is being focused on what his next move may be.”
Go Soo and BH Entertainment discussed the issue of his contract early before its expiration. However, both agreed to part ways. It has been said the agency told Go Soo, they would terminate the contract early if he found a new home before his contract ended.
The insider commented, “There are many instances where stars and their agencies end on a bad note once re-signing falls through. However, Go Soo and BH Entertainment had a trusting relationship, and set an example as they displayed respect and care for one another until the end.”
Go Soo is currently looking for a new agency while filming “The Consultant.”
