Yoo Jae Suk Being Sought After SM C&C and Starship Entertainment
Yoo Jae Suk may be the most wanted man in Korea.
Not long after it was reported that he may or may not have met with YG Entertainment, it is being reported that the “Nation’s MC” is being courted by some of Korea’s top entertainment agencies.
According to several news reports, Yoo Jae Suk was contacted by Starship Entertainment (home to Sistar) and SM C&C (home to Kang Ho Dong and Shin Dong Yeob). It seems that these major companies are meeting up with him in hopes to be the lucky agency that signs a contract with the extremely popular comedian.
SM C&C has been rising up as a new but powerful entertainment agency, with famous comedians like Kang Ho Dong and famous actors such as Jang Dong Gun and Kim Na Neul ties to their name. If Yoo Jae Suk moves to SM C&C, it would mean that this fairly new agency would have the top two MCs of the country under their name.
Starship Entertainment is known more for their musical artists with acts like Sistar and K.Will. While the company may be smaller, it does have a great share hold in Loen Entertainment and its branches. The CEO of Starship is also longtime friends with Yoo Jae Suk.
A representative of Yoo Jae Suk addressed these reports and confirmed that the comedian had met up with Starship and SM C&C for recruiting intentions. Yoo Jae Suk is seriously considering all the agencies, but has yet to make a decision on where he will go next.
