BTOB's Minhyuk Cast for MBC's New Drama "A New Leaf"

Minhyuk of idol group BTOB has joined the cast of MBC’s new Wednesday-Thursday drama “A New Leaf.”

On March 25, it was announced through MBC’s Twitter account that Minhyuk has been confirmed for the role of Ji Hyuk. This will mark his big three (SBS, MBC, KBS) debut, as he has previously appeared only on cable TV dramas.

“A New Leaf” will depict the life of a talented lawyer, whose life takes a complete turn as he gets into a serious accident. As a consequence, he suffers from memory loss, and decides to turn over a new leaf in his life.

Minhyuk will be playing Lee Ji Hyuk, the younger brother of Lee Ji Yoon (Park Min Young), who works as the assistant of Kim Suk Joo (Kim Myung Min). News about Kim Myung Min being confirmed for the role were released last week.

“A New Leaf” will take the time slot of “Cunning Single Lady” after the latter finishes its run in mid-April.
