YG Releases First Debut Teaser Picture for Akdong Musician

Following the announcement that brother-sister duo Akdong Musician will be finally releasing their debut album on April 7, YG Entertainment has released their first debut teaser picture.

In the picture, Akdong Musician siblings Lee Chan Hyuk and Lee Soo Hyun pose in front of a green leafy background. Soo Hyun looks demure in pink and white, while Chan Hyuk is almost fully in green except for his yellow boots. “AKMU,” which titles the page, is an abbreviation of Akdong Musician, taking the first syllable of each word.

Akdong Musician has yet to debut officially, but they have already scored several hits, including “Don’t Cross Your Legs,” “You are Attractive,” “Love in the Milky Way Café” and “Officially Missing You.”

Their first album will have 11 tracks and three title tracks, including “200%” and “Melted.” The third title track will be chosen by fans.

Music videos for all three title tracks will be released one at a time, with “Melted” on April 7 along with the album’s release, “200%” on April 14. The release date of the third track will be announced at a later date.

Akdong Musician’s first album will be released on April 7, a year after winning “K-Pop Star Season 2.” Their debut performance will be on “K-Pop Star Season 3” on April 6.
